Important Information – Sports Complex Season 2026
For several months, our teams have been enthusiastically working on a project that is particularly close to our hearts: the creation of a brand-new sports complex, designed as a fun and welcoming space for both children and adults.
Following an appeal filed by a local association, a recent court decision now requires us to suspend the construction work for the 2026 season. This decision is difficult for our teams, who have been fully committed to this project for many months.
As a result, the new sports complex will unfortunately not be able to open this season. Nevertheless, everything is being done to continue offering you a complete, friendly and enjoyable holiday experience.
You will still be able to enjoy:
– a brand-new entertainment team
– sports and family activities
– our Aqualiday water park
– our wellness area
– our new children’s playground
– as well as all the services and facilities already available on the campsite
This project has not been abandoned. We remain fully committed to bringing it to life as soon as circumstances allow.

Will the campsite’s sports facilities still be available? Yes, absolutely. All existing sports facilities on the campsite will remain accessible throughout the 2026 season.
Will the multisports court remain open? Yes, the multisports court will remain available for football, basketball and other sports activities.
Will the beach volleyball court still be accessible? Yes, the beach volleyball court will remain open throughout the season.
Will the table tennis tables still be available?Yes, the table tennis tables will still be available for all guests to enjoy.
Will the campsite’s other facilities still be available?Yes. All existing facilities and services on the campsite will remain available, including:

From 12th to 14th June 2026, Lacanau Beach welcomes the latest edition of the Lacanau Beach Handball Xperience.
For three exciting days, teams from across Europe compete right on the beach in a festive and friendly atmosphere. Spectacular matches, entertainment, concerts and a vibrant event village officially kick off the summer season.
The perfect opportunity to enjoy the first sunny days, lively terraces and long walks along the Atlantic coast.
Les Apéros Canaulais: A Month of Music and Summer Vibes

July: Lacanau Lives to the Rhythm of Surfing

From 8th to 14th July 2026, some of the world's best surfers gather on the central beach for one of Europe's most prestigious surfing competitions.
But the Lacanau Pro is much more than a sporting event. The seafront transforms into a vibrant summer village featuring concerts, skateboarding demonstrations, entertainment, exhibitions, environmental awareness activities and an unmistakable surf atmosphere.
